How to Find and RSVP to Events

The Events page pulls together events that are relevant to women working in sports, submitted by HERizon Allies, approved Event Contributors, and our own team.

What you will find

When you open Events, your upcoming RSVPs sit at the top, so you always have a clear view of what is on your calendar. Below that,

Popular Events are ranked by how many members have RSVPed. Scroll further to browse everything that is available.

Events span a range of formats: free and paid, in-person and virtual, open to all and members only. All of that is clearly labeled on each event card before you even tap in.

Getting the full picture

Tap any event to open the detail page. Here you will find the date, time, location, a full description, and who the organizer is. You will also see a list of other members who are attending, which means you can reach out before you even walk in the door.

RSVPing

Tap Going if you plan to attend. Your name will appear in the attendee list so other members can see you are going. If you want to keep your attendance private, you can turn that off in Settings.

Tap Interested if you are not sure yet, but want to save the event. It goes straight to your Bookmarks on your Profile page so you can find it later.

Getting tickets/registering

Tap Get Tickets and a web view will open to the organizer's external website. All ticket purchases happen there. There are no in-app purchases on HERizon Connect. If you prefer to complete the transaction in your regular browser, tap the arrow icon in the top right of the web view to open it in your default browser.
